MARCH 7TH 7 PM BrooklynNites Jazz: In celebration of Women’s History Month, jazz vocalist Antoinette Montague performs original tunes and selections made famous by female musical icons. This program is hosted by Rob Crocker.
MARCH 14TH 7 PM Film: Girl Model (David Redmon and Ashley Sabin, 2011 78min.). This documentary follows the parallel stories of aspiring model Nadya and the jaded scout who discovered her. Film and Q&A presented in partnership with the PBS documentary series POV.

7 PM Lecture: April Lynn James speaks on women opera composers active from 1625 to 1913. This program is made possible by the New York Council for the Humanities’ Speakers in the Humanities program.

7:30 PM Drop-in-Drawing Workshop: All ages welcome; no experience necessary. There is an $8.00 materials fee.
MARCH 28TH Artists in Conversation: Hyperallergic editor Hrag Vartanian speaks with artist Valerie Hagerty and Raw/Cooked artist Marela Zacarias about the ways their work references and remixes history for a contemporary audience.
