caribBEING is aiming to make its 4th annual Flatbush Film Festival the most dynamic yet and to continue to grow as an organization dedicated to Caribbean art. We aim to be global in each but truly local in perspective and we hope that you will support our efforts to advance Caribbean art, culture and film in Brooklyn and around the world.

caribBEING is a boutique non-profit organization based in Flatbush, Brooklyn whose mission is building community through the lens of Caribbean cinema+ culture + art and whose programming and events reflects the diversity and creative contributions of the region and Diaspora communities.
caribBEING has presented three years of outstanding programs throughout NYC & Europe that included successful indoor and outdoor film series, art exhibitions, cultural programs and Caribbean art residences showcasing the contributions of the Caribbean drawing over 4k attendees.
This year caribBEING has been invited to curate film programs at the Caribbean Fine Art show in Barbados and at the prestigious 10th Annual Pan-African Film Festival in Cannes.
We’re global in reach, but local in presence.
