JUNE 6TH – 7P.M. Film; The Boys in the Band (Mart Crowley, 1970. 118 minutes) A gay man’s birthday party turns into a night of soul-searching when his straight college roommates turns up by mistake. Q & A with actor Laurence Luckinbill follows. Presented in collaboration with Brooklyn Pride.
JUNE 13TH – 6:30P.M. Sensory Tour: “Art in Bloom.” Explore art using verbal descriptions, tastings, and tactile experiences. For individuals who are blind or have low vision; open to all.
7:30 P.M. – Curator & Conservator Talk: Teresa Carbone, Andrew W. Mellon, Curator of American Art, and Toni Owen, Senior Paper Conservator, discuss a recent scientific study of John Singer Sargent’s watercolors.

JUNE 27TH 7P.M In Conversation: A narrative performance by artist LaToya Ruby Frazier is followed by a talk about photographs as memory and social representation with Laura Wexler, Yale Professor of Gender Studies; Lesley Martin, publisher at the Aperture Foundation; and Hershini Bhana Young, author of Haunting Capital Memory Text and the Black Diasporic Body.
