New York – Caribbean Soca Monarchs to perform at prestigious Kings Theatre on 12th April 2015 in Brooklyn NYC:
The world touring Trinidad & Tobago-based Caribbean band, KES, which performs multiple genres of music of Caribbean (soca, calypso, reggae and dancehall) and other origins (rock, R&B and dance), has much more than their Groovy Soca Monarch winning tune “Wotless” in their repertoire. Other popular tunes by the group include
“Ah Ting,” “Where Yuh From,” “Look Fuh Dat,” and “Tuesday On the Rock.”
Kes the Band’s music has been described as Island Pop and Caribbean Pop by some in the music industry.
Noted for a complex blend of turbo-charged as well as soothing live performances with the soulful voice of lead singer (Kes), KES has captured the hearts of many and has become one of the most popular and sought after bands in Trinidad & Tobago, throughout the Caribbean, the USA and Canada.
And now, at the convenience and leisure all tri-state music lovers can experience “First Impression” Soca concert on Sunday, April 12th. For the first time in history, the grand and prestigious stage of the Kings Theatre would be shared by KES the Band and other Caribbean soca monarchs. The others are Olatunji (the reigning International Groovy Soca Monarch), Kerwin Dubois, Ravi B, Mr. Killa and Lavaman — from Trinidad & Tobago and Grenada.
