From devastation to restoration: This contemporary rendition of the tumultuous life of the biblical character – Job will keep you recited to your seats. This production will take you on a journey where angels and demons battle for the life of a man who would not curse God. What would you do if God removed the hedge from your life?
PREMISE: To showcase the multitalented and creatively gifted individuals who grace our churches and our communities. To bring churches together through this medium as a means of exposing the gospel through a forum of the creative arts. To strengthen relationships and create a lasting bond that unites individuals on a common ground – THE ARTS.
ARTS IN CHRISTIAN THEATRE, INC. – ACT is a theatrical company that creates opportunities to showcase talented and artistic individuals of all ages. ACT attempts to expose to the community, the creative expressions of the arts, such as dramatic plays, concerts, Stories Come to Life, Fashion shows, vignettes, dance recitals, musicals, and poetry.
We presented several off Broadway productions to sold out audiences: Looking For Love, Love Lies and Mercy, The Kings Gate, The Wedding, The Airport, Homecoming and others. The Hedge has been seen by over 70,000 people.
THE MARKET: This production will draw individuals of all ages from our city’s diverse ethnic communities. The venue, a CUNY facility, will attract college students who want to experience theatre and the varied creative expressions of the arts at an affordable cost. Churches, ministries, civic organizations and schools will be drawn to this production not only because of its central location, easy access but also because ACT’s strive for excellence.
